Arrangement setting forth the relations established between

the Fostal Administration of Hongkong and the

Postal Administration of China.

Article 1.

Exchange of Mails.

1. There shall be between the Fostel Administration of Hongkong (which includes the British Fostal Agencies operating in China)

- and the Fostal Administration of China a regular exchange of

postal articles of all kinds ordinary, registered, local,

international, or in transit closed or à découvert - by any

means of transport, ordinary or special, now established or

hereafter to be established, which each Administration may have

at its disposal.

2. The exchange of mails between the two Administrations will

take place through the British Fostal Agencies in China and the

Chinese Post Offices established in the same localities as

these British Postal Agencies, or where no Eritish Fostal

Agencies may at present be established between Hongkong and

such Chinese Post Offices direct. Other Offices may, on agree-

ment between the two Administrations, be designated for the

exchange of rails wherever postal requirements may demand it.

Article II.

Transport of Wails.

1. The Chinese Fost Office/will accept from Hongkong and the

British Postal Agencies in China mails, closed or à découvert.

or out of China, and will undertake to transmit them to destina-

tion by any means of transport at the disposal of the Chinese
